The Golden Globe Awards evening will be held on January 16, 2011 while The Grammy Awards will take place in February 2012

Vh1 has bagged the broadcast rights of ‘69th Golden Globe Awards 2012’ and The Grammy Awards, 2012 in India.

The Golden Globes, the most coveted awards show in Hollywood is telecast across 167 countries worldwide. This year, Vh1 will showcase all the drama from the red carpet to behind-the-scenes to performances of the awards in its 69th year. The Golden Globe Awards ranks as the third most-watched awards show each year, following The Oscars and The Grammy Awards. The evening will be held on January 16, 2012, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on and will be telecast on Vh1 – LIVE!

The channel has engaged audiences through various music and reality shows, contests and LIVE premieres of International awards which reaches out to Indians across the country. Last year, Vh1 sent winners to watch the Grammy Awards as esteemed guests with front row seats with invites to the after party with some of the biggest International artists!
