MUMBAI: Vh1 India will showcase specially curated music blocks, new shows and the latest seasons of existing popular shows throughout the month of March.
The channel will air shows like ‘Say It In a Song’, ‘Fake Off’, ‘Entertainment Tonight’, ‘Vh1 Trending’, ‘Vh1 Secret Stash’ and more.
Commenting on the new line-up, Viacom18 English entertainment programming head Hashim D’souza stated, “At Vh1, our aim is to ensure that no matter when people tune in, they have a good time. Even when it seems like there isn’t one, there’s always a reason to celebrate and we like to imbibe that in our programming. This month we get into the festive spirit and celebrate festivals in India and across the world, along with showcasing the biggest music award show from the UK. From Women’s March to International Day of Happiness, we’ve got your celebrations covered. So tune in and get with it.”
The channel will premiere seasons 4 and 5 of the reality-based drama ‘Catfish: The TV Show’ from 20 March, every Monday at 9 pm. The series brings together couples who’ve interacted solely through LCD screens. Over the course of months, they have supposedly fallen in love—but the series explores what will happen when they meet in real life for the first time.
Vh1 India has also added a segment for festivals and special days like Women’s Day, International Day of Happiness, Holi and St. Patrick’s Day. Recently, the channel also aired 2017 Brit Awards.
