25 sd channel = 1 uhd channel

instead of this they should have add 25sd channels which r still missing?
also in which tp they would add as space is no where available in any tp.

so they just compromise with one tp n ll provide lesser pq n aq on that tp's channels.

they also have 3D channel. what is the use of that also?

moving to new technology without fulfilling the existing technology.
its like a guy failed in 10th class but moved to 12th class.

5 HD channels = 1 UHD Channel. They should add 5 HD Channels. The channels are-
STAR SPORTS :hd 3(Which is confirmed to be added)
STAR SPORTS :hd 4
ANIMAL PLANET :hd
TLC :hd WORLD
MTV INDIES :hd

First of all stop spreading wrong information.

1 UHD channel ~= 2 HD ~= 8 SD Except for Dish TV (and Tata Sky partially) no one else is using outdated technology and wasting precious bandwidth. UHD channel is being broadcasted in HEVC which gives almost 50% more compression compared to MPEG 4 which is current standard.

D2H still has good amount of space to add channels. So no question of reducing picture quality.

Agree, D2H still has some missing channels but atleast they are far better than others in adding channels. Except dish tv no one else has all channels.

Guys,

Whatever the points we are saying by opposing the addition of UHD when there are many SD and HD channels missing, according to me, those points are not only for Videocon D2H but also for Tatasky.

But we are discussion this under Videocon D2H section. We should discussion this in General DTH News section only. We should use the below thread instead.
