The magistrate dismissed the petition by actor-director Visu, who had filed a petition at the court seeking a stay on the release of Thillu Mullu remake and allowed the release of the film without any hassles.
Ace director and writer Visu had filed a petition in the court challenging the release of 'Thillu Mullu' remake stating that being the dialogue writer of the original version which was released in 1981, the filmmakers of the remake did not seek his permission to remake this film.
However, the producers(Vendhar Movies) contended that they had procured all the rights pertaining to Thillu Mullu from the producers of the original version.
