want to know how to watch stb recorded content on pc

Recently I purchased dish true hd+ stb with recorder.
I recorded some shows n music videos with usb pen drive. I want to watch these on pc. But on pc pendrive is not readable and ask for format.. what is the problem with pendriVe..please help.
