Discussion Why aren't there any national news shows similar to that of Gravitas and Firstpost Vantage?

I am sick of these tv debates. Although it's popcorn worthy entertainment which was stuck with Arnab and wherever he went. Now this disease has spread across multiple channels. It's literally making me people ill-informed and dumb. Than you got opinionated news shows and obsession with celebrities which are equally bad. Only time I see proper news are on those Fatafat, Top 100 news etc. Local news and podcast from newspapers are much better than these.
 
Investing in news isn't worth the money, just enjoy your 300+ remakes and don't question anything. If you want news just watch DD.
 
This issue won't get resolved until news channels r heavily dependent on ads for revenue and too many news channels are allowed to operate.... Also largely people have become accustomed to watching such noise heavy debates with less of actual serious discussion on important topics, this new habit of watching news as a form of entertainment is a major issue too
 
Now-a-days watching a news channel debate is like attending a shouting match with random words thrown in just for drama—where everyone talks, but nobody listens, and somehow the volume is more important than the content.

We already have global news shows like Gravitas from WION. Even local news bulletins for example Prime at Night on Prag News (Assamese Channel) covers pretty much everything. Meanwhile national news offers next to nothing.

Both Wion and Firstpost r catering to worldwide audience hence offer much more depth in the way they present + cover news stories, they r not in TRP race.... Also some regional news channels too and even NDTV chs cover news in proper manner without any sensationalism or loud debates

I see debates on NDTV too.
 
Even Regional news channels have these type of shows covering national issues and world news , including Hindi news channels have shows called ,

DNA - Daily News and analysis by sister channel of WION ( do not confuse it with daily news analysis of newspaper done by youtubers for competitive exams aspirants) ,
Black and white show segment and News Ki Pathshala - discuss about the national issue in details .

p.s searched and found few of the tv news show names mentioned above.

WION and Firstpost are such a breath of fresh air in this polluted news space.
