Why Dth stop telecast DD National after reacharge due

DD National is a free to air and we all know we watch it before without dish antenna, but now a days after reacharge due in dish they stop telecast all chanels , we want to govt take action about it and start a rule after reacharge due all customers can watch DD national and dd territory channels free on tv screen

Private DTH using their frequency and satellite with encryption method in all channels including DD channels to. So there is no chance to view DD channels without recharge.

But YES I agree with you Govt should come up with DD Channels should shown without recharge.

2-3 years ago former ceo of prasar bharti Shashi Shekhar Vempati has written a letter to all dth operator about this matter but nothing happened..Govt suggestion isn't enough,they should include this to Cable and Dth act...

DTH companies make significant amount of investments and also incur recurring expenses. Offering DD National or any channel to deactivated users is not possible because you will be using DTH company's established infrastructure to watch the channels and pay nothing in return.

The argument of national importance does not stand in this case because you are free to get DDFD or watch DD without dish antenna. Also, if somehow DD National is offered to deactive users, it will be giving them unfair advantage over other channels.

I think an exception is needed for DD News and DD India. Even a interrupted local feed should be allowed. TV is more than a source of entertainment. It is an important communication services. Also these channels carries minimal ads. They can take ads off.
