1. News channels airing repetitive debate centric and opinionated content. It adds no value to viewers general knowledge. Minus NDTV and DD India. Not even DD News is spared.

2. WWE leaves TV for Netflix.

3. The only english music comedy and music channel left shuts down.

4. Broadcasters being too smart moves their content to OTT platform. Take Shark Tank India for an example.

5. If you want niche sports. They will push you to OTT platforms or SD channels in 2025.

6. Hindi Entertainment channels airs mostly rona dhona dumbfounded content. Not one quality programming is their. Even reality shows are same.

Movies are airing repeatedly almost 3 times in 2 weeks. With skipped songs and cutting scenes.
Also the fact that they hoard their massive library. Even theatres are making money re-releasing old movies. They will keep airing some random new movie or some popular action and comedy movie. They think audience doesn't wants something fresh. I use to love Star Gold Select HD because of their focus in storytelling movies. Bollywood has so many good movies. They just won't show it.

Money is not sole problem with dish. Quality of content has degraded a lot on tv channels. With unlimited 5G data and Fiber connection bundled with ott subscriptions easily available dish has no future. Also the dish operators are very stubborn about NCF and design packages in such a way that consumers are forced to pay extra.
