No smooth motion available while watching a live sports prog on hotstar or sony or voot compared to what we get on dth channel
what fps(frame per second) these ott platforms cater to us in a premium subscription?
picture quality deteriorates so much on live streaming when i watch a football or cricket live match on hotstar or sony liv or voot
despite that Tata Play asking and promoting the binge subscription from customers
whats ur thoughts?
pls share ur views

Absolutely u r saying right bro , I'm also facing same problem, Tata play binge group technical team r consider this issue & resolve the problem immediately.

Issue is not from Tata Play side Our streaming platforms provide low fps feeds for live sports events..

If you would take a close look at US streaming services like Peacock and NBC, you'll see that their streaming online is smooth native 60 fps, just like cable tv. However Indian sports streaming services like Jio cinema or hotstar stream their content in 24 fps, and on more expensive tvs, the "motion smoothing" or "motion plus" option upscales the 24 fps content to make it look like 60 fps.

How long it will take ott plateforms to stream live matches in 50 or 60 fps. Presently it is very pathetic to watch live matches on ott plateforms like Disney hotstar, fan code, sonyliv etc in 25 fps stream compared to DTH.
