why Indian channels are FTA in other country?

Dear Friends,
After browsing several satt. site I have found Many Indian Television channels like Star Gold; Star Plus, Zee Premier, UTV and many more are running FTA in other country beam/satt, which is not easily available in our country. Just seen today found TC Punjabi, UTV Movies, Life OK India, Aaj Tak, Star Plus Southeast Asia, Zee Premier, Star Gold and UTV Stars on Optus D2. :angry:angry:angry:angry:angry:angry

While in our country/easily available beam it is on either PAY mode or encrypted by opeartor. WHYwall:wall

I think they are just looting their viewer, and wants only cable/dth. No for AAM ADMI.(General people)

Why SRK is searched vigorously at USA airport, whereas in India he is given Godly treatment.
Thats bcoz SRK value goes down notches in the US, as in India.

Same, "Aaj Tak" to them is like "Russia today" for us. :k

Initially they will start on FTA mode and when they are getting a large number of viewers they will changed to PAID mode. For eg. There is B4U movies in Eurobird 9, 9deg E, 3 years before it was FTA in this sat, now it is PAID mode. Currently this channel is FTA in Nilesat 7deg West, in the near future we can see they will move to PAID mode.

All these are business tricks.
