In what it believes is a coup for hugely compelling content, the Yamgo mobile TV network has announced a new partnership with 9X Jalwa, India’s first music channel dedicated to Bollywood hits.
Under the terms of the deal, 9X Jalwa’s short format shows such as Halkat Sawal, Kauwaa Kauwaa and Bollywood trivia, will be available on Yamgo TV’s mobile-based platforms and will complement Yamgo’s existing 15 Bollywood channels which include content encompassing romance, comedy, action and adventure movies.
“9X Jalwa is the third channel from 9X Media Group to be launched on the Yamgo network … With the rise in demand for entertainment on-the-go, our association with Yamgo enables us to reach out to the viewers across the globe through their mobile TV platform,” revealed Vibha Gosher SVP, digital, 9X Media. “This association further strengthens the reach of 9X Jalwa as it makes it possible for the Bollywood music fans to enjoy the animated humour offerings from 9X Jalwa.”
“9X Jalwa is a fantastic new addition to Yamgo,” added Yamgo CEO Ian Mullins. “9X Jalwa delivers great programming that a variety of age groups will love. Bollywood is a key genre that we offer on Yamgo. We have the biggest and best brands, and 9X Jalwa is a great example of what viewers can expect to find on the Yamgo network”.
