Leading over-the-top (OTT) player YuppTV has expanded its offering with the launch of 18 Sri Lankan TV channels across a variety of genres.
The OTT player has also added Pakistani entertainment channel Hum TV, the flagship channel of Hum Network.
Prominent Sinhala, Tamil and English channels such as Siyatha TV, Derana TV, Dan TV, Channel C, Nethra TV and Prime TV will now be available on YuppTV platform, worldwide.
Approximately three million Sri Lankan expats are spread across the globe, with the majority concentrated around Europe, the Middle East and Canada.
Sri Lankan expats can now enjoy their favourite programmes anytime, anywhere on multiple internet-enabled devices.
Two of Sri Lanka’s most popular TV channels from Capital Maharaja Organization—Shakthi TV and Sirasa TV—were already available on YuppTV.
YuppTV founder and CEO Uday Reddy said, “At YuppTV, we have always sought to enable the best, most preferred entertainment options for our users across the globe.

Pakistani entertainment channel Hum TV, which also is now available on YuppTV, is the flagship channel of Hum Network. Some of its shows such as ‘Man Mayal’, ‘Gul-e-Rana’, ‘Abro’, ‘Pakeeza’ and ‘Jago Pakistan Jago’ enjoy immense popularity with the Indian consumers.
YuppTV will distribute Hum TV worldwide, with the exception of the US, as part of its Urdu bouquet.
