Zee Cinema has planned a special game show filler content in between breaks from 18 April.
Titled Cinema Khel Khel Mein, the show will have games ranging from 90 seconds to three minutes in every break during the 12 noon – 4 pm movie.
Every Monday-Thursday the 12 noon movies will see these interstitial show capsules totaling around 22-24 minutes.
The channel claims that with Cinema Khel Khel Mein, the entire family will get a chance to participate in games to test its Hindi film quotient. And on every Friday, the winning families from the week's previous episodes will battle it out to be the ‘Friday ke Sikandar’ to walk away with cash prizes.
Zee Cinema business head Mohan Gopinath said, "Zee Cinema has always been dedicated towards catering to the avid movie buff who just can't get enough of Hindi Cinema! Cinema Khel Khel Mein is something new that will provide a close connect to our viewers and at the same time, test their knowledge in cinema in an entertaining manner."
The show, hosted by TV actor Vineet Raina, will be on air for a duration of 12 weeks.
