After the grand success of recent fiction launches, Mahadevi & Shrimaan Shrimathi, Zee Kannada is all set to launch a mega weekday socio fiction ‘Nagini’.

Apparently, the Channel has designed the show in such a way to boost its rural audience. Nagini stands out to be breakthrough genre in the recent times that is capable of attracting all sections and it would definitely hook the rural masses too.

With 75% growth in proportion of TV households in Rural India and with 48% of Karnataka TV audience falling in its Rural market. It is quite obvious that Zee Kannada is making content strategically to reach out to rural masses.

It may be noted that the finite fiction show Naagin on Colors is ruling the roost in HSM Market right from the inception and it is retaining the top spot constantly for many weeks.

The success of Nagini is very vital for the new Business Head of Zee Kannada Channel Mr. Raghavendra Hunsur, as he is on a desperate mission to raise the bar in Karnataka GEC space.

Nagini on Zee Kannada is a supernatural thriller story of a Nagini who takes revenge on the culprits who killed her parents for the greed of Nagamani.

It is a furious battle between the protagonist Nagini (Amrutha) and the villains who have stolen the Nagamani (a precious lucky stone) by killing Naagarani and Naagaraja. Before their death, they would tell Amrutha to take revenge on the villains and get back the lost Nagamani to come back to life.

Amrutha then comes as Nagini into the real world from Naglok to take revenge on the villains who killed her parents. It turns out that the guy who is in love with Amrutha is the son of the Villain who killed her parents.

Will Amrutha take revenge and bring back her parents life or will she sacrifice for the sake of love…? The Answer will be the thrilling fantasy story of Nagini on Zee Kannada.

The Show is all set to launch from 8th Feb and air on Mon-Fri at 9pm.
