Zee Kannada will be airing its version of the family awards – The Zee Kutumba Awards 2012 at 5.30 pm on 24 and 25 March.
Zee Kutumba Awards were exclusively for the serials, reality shows and other programmes of Zee Kannada and their artists. As mentioned earlier, the awards were held in Bangalore on 3 March.
Zee Kutumba awards highlight not just individual characters but relationships with Zee Kutumba. Some of the award categories include Best Family, Best Mother-Father, Best Mother-Daughter, Best Pair, Best Villain pair, etc. For reality shows, the Zee Kutumba had categories like the Best Anchor, Best Reality Show, etc. Awards for categories like ‘Best mother-in-law – daughter-in-law’ pair were chosen based on SMS.
The awards ceremony had a number of high points which included dance performances by the TV stars of the serials Parvathi Parmeshwara, Panduranga Vitala, Chi.Sow.Savithri, Radha Kalyana, Benkiyalli Aralida Hoovu, Aarsi, Devi and Sose.
Zee Kannada claims that the Zee Kutumba Awards -2012 was witnessed by a large number of celebrities of the Television industry and that it has succeeded in putting together a grand platform to bring all artists, technicians, producer and TV stars in a one of its kind in Kannada television.
