MUMBAI: Tamil general entertainment channel Zee Tamizh is all set to entertain its viewers by airing a series of popular James Bond movies dubbed in Tamil.
Starting 2 August, every Saturday at 9 pm viewers can catch Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig play James Bond.
According to Zee Tamizh officials, James Bond movies have a large following in Tamil Nadu.
For the first time in Tamil television, the Tamil dubbed version of James Bond’s recent movie ‘Skyfall’ is going to telecast on 2 August at 9 pm.
Skyfall was the fourteenth film in the Bond franchise, as well as the first Bond film to cross the $1 billion mark worldwide.
James Bond films are the second-highest grossing film series to date. As of 2014, there have been 23 films in the Eon Productions series. The most recent Bond film, Skyfall (2012), stars Daniel Craig in his third portrayal of Bond; he is the sixth actor to play Bond in the Eon series.
