Zee Tamizh has unveiled two fiction shows, ‘Enga Vettu Penn’ and ‘Priyasakhi’. ‘Enga Veettu Penn’ will premiere on 8 June.
It will air at 8 pm from Monday to Friday. ‘Enga Veettu Penn’ is an ambitious story of Sumithra whose world is turned upside down when her wealthy father is suddenly convicted of fraud.
Her family comes to the streets in a matter of a day. With nowhere to go, they are taken in by their loyal man-servant to his humble abode in Kuyil Kuppam, a slum clearance area.
Looked down upon and starting a life from the ground level, Sumithra discovers herself with the support of people around her and transforms into a social crusader bettering the lives of the people around her.
Her fall from grace, rise from the ashes and her destiny as a politician form the crux of the story. The show stars Harshitha as the protagonist along with Y. G Mahendran, Sarath Babu, Fathima Babu , Ram Mohan, Kavithalaya Krishna and Junior Balaiya. The second show ‘Priyasakhi’ will also premiere on 8 June. It will air at 9:30 pm from Monday to Friday.
‘Priyasakhi’ is about Dhivya who has parents that are uncaring and partial, siblings who are jealous and cunning, husband who married her just for challenge and thrill and in-laws who are unsympathetic and refuse to endorse the marriage.
