MUMBAI: Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) will offer eight of its new Indian series at the Asia Television Forum for global distribution. All eight programmes are 2015 Indian television series, which premiered within the last two quarters. The shows are family drama ‘Adhuri Kahaani Humari’, the horror series ‘Darr Sabko Lagta Hai’, romantic series ‘Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum’ and police drama ‘Agent Raghav: Crime Branch’ from the &TV stable; and period drama ‘Ek Tha Raja, Ek Thi Rani’, drama series ‘Sarojini’, ‘Kaala Teeka’ and ‘Yeh Vaada Raha’ from Zee TV. ZEEL global head syndication Sunita Uchil said, “Zee is known in Asia and all around the world for producing exciting, engaging and enlightening television dramas and we are happy to be able to offer our first-run, top-rated new dramas to broadcasters at ATF. In addition to these excellent dramas, we come to the market with our vast catalogue of over 210,000 hours of television content. We also have a comprehensive catalogue in English, ‘Z Living’ wellness programming (produced in America) and a whole lot more.” ‘Adhuri Kahaani Humari’ deals with the idea of rebirth for the sake of love. ‘Darr Sabko Lagta Hai’ presents stories about the paranormal, supernatural, spirits, ghosts and the unseen. Bipasha Basu has made her television debut with this contemporary horror show. ‘Kaala Teeka’ is the story of Vishwaveer Jha (Bhupinder Singh) and his quest to keep his only daughter, Gauri, safe and protected. ‘Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum’ tells the story of a popular rockstar and scion of the biggest musical empire Rahul Sabharwal, and of a humble aspiring singer from a small town, Maanvi Chatterjee. ‘Agent Raghav: Crime Branch’ is a fictional crime television series. ‘Ek Tha Raja, Ek Thi Rani’ is the true story of the Royal Family of Ameerkot. ‘Sarojini’ follows the journey of a strong minded, well-educated girl who marries into a family with a regressive patriarchal set up—a household governed, dominated and practically ruled. In the dramatic series ‘Ye Wada Raha’, a commitment forever changes the lives of the protagonists.
