MUMBAI: As part of its strategy to entertain its young viewers, Zee TV has launched a summer special titled ‘Dramebaaz Company’.
Airing every Sunday at 11 am, the two-hour special is hosted by kids who participated in Zee TV’s popular shows like ‘Saregamapa’ and ‘Dance India Dance’. The show will be an eight week property.
The children perform various skits and anchor the show that highlights the best performances from the channel’s non-fiction properties. On Sunday 26 April, ‘Drameebaz Company’ will showcase performances and comedy gags from Zee Cine Awards 2013–14.
The show will see Zee TV’s ‘li’l champs’ Pranit Sharma, Honey Khilwani, Mehnaz Kaur, Chinmay Deshkar, and Sachin Choudhary come together to present a family drama spoof.
Star performances this week will be Deepika Padukone’s dance acts to her favourite songs, rapper Honey Singh’s medley of hits like ‘Blue Eyes’, ‘Brown Rang’, ‘Aaj Blue Hai Paani Paani’, etc., and a 12-minute nonstop retro dance act by Ranveer Singh.
