The viewers can watch 12 regional channels from ETV network's bouquet across platforms.
ZengaTV, a mobile television and web streaming solutions provider, has announced its partnership with ETV network in a bid to strengthen its regional content offering. This partnership will enable viewers to watch 12 channels from the ETV stable for free.
Shabir Momiin, chief executive officer, ZengaTV, says, "This addition of 12 channels from the ETV Group now takes our offering of channels close to 100. This partnership will strengthen the regional offering for our viewers through mobile screens including mobiles, laptops and tabs. The 12 channels from the ETV group give us the chance to cater to the language-specific viewers in the South, East and other regions."
The 12 regional channels from the ETV Network include ETV Telugu, ETV2, ETV Bangla, ETV Marathi, ETV Kannada, ETV Oriya, ETV Gujarati, ETV Urdu, ETV Uttar Pradesh, ETV Rajasthan, ETV Bihar and ETV Madhya Pradesh.
Momiin adds, "Currently, for regional channels, we are concentrating on live TV, wherein programmes are aired live on various platforms. Eventually we will start storing various shoe episodes, and edit them such that viewers can watch previous episodes too."
Going forward, the company plans to focus on more regional channels, followed by international channels as well.
