Tata Play adds Gemini Music HD on LCN 1483

Direct-to-home (DTH) operator Tata Play has added 1 Telugu Regional HD channel from Sun TV Network “Gemini Music HD” on 29th February 2024. Gemini Music HD is available on Channel No. 1483 with Dolby Digital audio. It is priced at Rs. 19 and can only be subscribed through à la carte as of now and will be made available to Tata Play curated packs soon.

Since the launch of Gemini Music HD in 2017, Sun Direct, the Sun Network’s DTH service, was the first to add this HD channel on Channel No. 838 and Airtel Digital TV grabbed the second spot by adding this channel on Channel No. 931. Gemini Music HD channel is currently not available on Dish TV and D2H platforms.

Before Gemini Music HD, Tata Play added 3 news channels and 1 Assamese language general entertainment channel on its platform in February month and all 4 of them are for free and can be subscribed anytime.

There was a huge demand for the addition of this channel and Tata Play has finally fulfilled it. Tata Play has now surpassed the count of 105 HD channels and holds a total of 106 HD channels at present times. Except for Tata Play, all the DTH operators are carrying less than 100 HD channels which makes Tata Play the leading operator in this segment.
