Iqbal Khan is looking at getting into Bollywood again. The actor, who has done films like Fun2shh...Dudes in the 10th century, Bullet – ek dhamaka and Kucch Dil Ne Kaha in the past, has been focussing on telly serials past few years.
His recent Sanjog Se Sangini on Zee went off air within a few months owing to poor TRPs. Now Iqbal, we hear, is hoping to return to films. He has just signed a film to be produced and directed by Arshad Khan. It's a love story which will see two new faces as female leads. There's an underworld don too in the film, a character that will be played by Shahbaaz Khan.
Iqbal surely must be anxious because this is second stint in B-Town. But TV will not take a backseat even if he gets busy with films. Says a source close to the actor, "He will never give up television. He knows quitting TV totally would be a mistake. Actors like Amarr Upadhyay and Manav Gohil have made that mistake. Iqbal would want to repeat that
