India’s leading news broadcaster, TV Today Network, has released its revised Reference Interconnect Offer (RIO) on January 2, 2025. The network has updated the rates for its most prominent news channels.

The newly released RIO from TV Today Network has announced that Aaj Tak and Good News Today (GNT) have transitioned from paid channels to Free-to-Air channels. Earlier, Aaj Tak was priced at Rs 0.89 and Good News Today (GNT) at Rs 0.25.

TV Today Network bouquet will be offered at a price of Rs 2.90 and will encompass Aaj Tak HD and India Today within the package. In addition to Aaj Tak and Good News Today (GNT), Aaj Tak HD will be offered at a revised price of Rs 2.50, while India Today will be priced at Rs 1.80 and can be subscribed as a la carte.

These adjustments constitute minor changes intended to favor the subscriber’s needs and will take effect on February 1, 2025. Previously, the pricing for Aaj Tak HD was set at Rs 2, and India Today at Rs 1.50. Furthermore, the new RIO of rival news broadcaster Zee Media Corporation Limited (ZMCL) will also be effective from February 1, 2025.
