Airtel Digital TV has teamed up with Amazon India to launch a new package offering Prime Lite benefits along with live TV services. The company has introduced new “Ultimate and Amazon Prime Lite” plans, which allows Airtel Digital TV subscribers to enjoy seamless entertainment, combining traditional linear TV channels with Amazon’s Prime Video content.

The plans offer Prime Lite subscription, allowing customers to stream Prime Video on two devices in HD quality. Subscribers will have access to a range of popular TV shows, blockbuster films, and exclusive Prime Video Originals, such as Mirzapur, Panchayat, The Family Man, Tiger 3, Kantara, and international hits like The Boys and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

In addition to entertainment, the Prime Lite plan comes packed with several Amazon Prime benefits including unlimited free same-day delivery and next-day delivery. Subscribers also get early access to sale events and Lightning Deals, as well as 5% cashback on purchases made using the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card. The regular price of an Amazon Prime Lite subscription is ₹799 per year, but Airtel Digital TV subscribers can now get it as part of their bundled package.

Pricing and Plan Details

Airtel Digital TV’s new offering starts with an affordable plan at ₹521 per month for the Hindi Ultimate & Amazon Prime Lite package. For those looking for longer-term savings, a six-month plan is available for ₹2,288. These packages include access to over 350 TV channels and all the Prime Video content, creating an all-in-one home entertainment solution for subscribers.

Speaking about the partnership, Siddharth Sharma, CEO of Airtel Digital TV, said, “The growing demand for mobile entertainment has prompted us to expand our TV offerings, providing customers with anytime, anywhere access. Our partnership with Amazon Prime enhances our content lineup, complementing our diverse range of home entertainment services. We are excited to offer customers an unparalleled experience, with prices starting as low as ₹521 for the Hindi content. We are confident our users will maximize the value of this compelling deal.”

This collaboration aims to meet the evolving needs of today’s consumers, who are seeking a blend of live TV and on-demand content through a single service provider. With this offering, Airtel Digital TV subscribers can enjoy the flexibility of high-quality streaming and traditional television without having to manage multiple subscriptions.

Shilangi Mukherji, Director and Head of SVOD Business at Prime Video India, emphasized the significance of this partnership: “At Prime Video, we are constantly looking at ways to strengthen our distribution and take our much-loved movies and series to an even wider audience. The collaboration with Airtel Digital TV makes access to Prime Video’s full selection of content even more seamless, while providing other shopping & shipping benefits of Prime Lite, like unlimited free ‘Same-day/Next-Day’ delivery across millions of products, early access to exclusive deals, and much more. The collaboration aims to make premium entertainment even more accessible to customers in India.”

As consumers continue to shift toward digital entertainment, the Airtel and Amazon Prime Lite bundle is set to cater to this growing demand by providing both convenience and value, enhancing Airtel Digital TV’s offerings in an increasingly competitive market.
