18th Cable TV Show to kick off in Kolkata

MUMBAI: The 18th edition of three-day Cable TV Show 2015 is all set to kick off tomorrow at Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata. The event will be held from 18 to 20 February. The exhibition will see participation from 58 companies that include set-top box (STB) manufacturers, digital headend, subscriber management system (SMS) and broadband product providers. Organised by not-for-profit Cable TV Equipment Traders & Manufacturers Association (CTMA), the event is the biggest exhibition of its kind for cable TV sector in the SAARC region. CTMA is pro-active particularly in Eastern India and the neighbouring countries in promoting as well as showcasing latest products, technology, emerging trends and value-added services in the CATV sector. Eastern India has a C&S base of more than 25 million homes beside another five million TV homes in the neighbouring SAARC countries.
