But guys, this TP is not full. 16 HD is already the case with Sun Direct. But their TP is 36 MHz. SES 9 TPs are 54 MHz. So they can add more channels. 11480 V TP is having 53 SD channels which is 36 MHz TP. D2H have 56 SD channels in their 54 MHz TP. So we cannot come to a conclusion at this moment. When ADTV can have 53 SD channels in 36 MHz TP, they can have more channels in 54 MHz TP.

I take d usual avg of 1 hd =3.5 sd

acc to it, this tp is carrying, 10+ 5.71 ( 20 sd chnls) = approx 16 hd chnls

but again, it depends upon compression.

They may not want to compress newly added chnls, by that much now... as they have more tps... but lets see, how much they wud want to fit into a single tp

Its sure that bro sd channels in new tp is compressed picture quality is not up to the mark....
