How can that be ? DD Channels r now in Insat 4B @93.5 °E and moving to GSAT @83°E.. Tatasky TP is in Insat 4A @83°E..

I think he wants to receive freedish chs in Tatasky box(when freedish will be shifted to 83 deg east) like Dish users are getting now. Is it possible in tatasky box ?

Yes But

If All Ku Band Channels Shifted And Tata Sky Have To Add Those Tps

I didn't exactly get your point...
What I trying to say is...
If let's say 20 channels which are presently on INSAT-4A for tata sky becomes available in GSAT-10 from freedish (which is at same angle, I mean is it not same arrangement as dishtv has with dd direct+ channels?), then those 20 channel space could be released and used by tata sky.

Only possible if Tatasky add the DD FD TPs to its network.. else we cant get as the STB is locked for scanning ..
BTW Just had a thought after seeing the Symbolrate of these frequencies.. its almost same as it TS TPs.. Is there any chance of Tatasky testing the TPs in C Band stream ? is that possible ? just a guess only .. members please dont laugh at me or make fun of me .. :no

Thats gr8 news @kumar ji :ohya :clap

But I think, C band can have such high Symbol rates. Lots of sats. are having C band TPs with very high symbol rates.

Also, I m not too sure, whether C band can be split into Ku band. :u
Genreally, when a satellite launches, it has pre-decided no. of TPs in C band which dont change/convert to Ku band, if required. But, this is also a mere speculation from my side, I m not too sure myself. :shy :u :huh

If we see the difference b/w each frequency it is exactly 40. Usually Ku band TP's have this difference of 40.

Just a guess, something could be happening ;) ;)

in dishtv frequency difference between ku band transponders is 50 to 60 :D
