Eenadu Television Private Limited has appointed IndiaCast Media Distribution Private Limited as its authorised agent for the distribution of the ETPL Channels across whole of India except state of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for Cable TV and for whole of India for DTH & IPTV.

As IndiaCast is the distributor then TataSky users have less chance of seeing these HD channels as FYI HD is still not added which is distributed by IndiaCast,also CN+HD was added so late.

IMO, TataSky users have higher chance of seeing any new HD channel than any other DTH users as always.
FYI TV18 HD is still not listed on IndiaCast website. The channel has only seen a soft-launch and the proper channel with proper logo is still not present on any platforms. Sun Direct still has the feed with old logo and the 'actual' launch of HD channel is yet to be done through TV18 and A+E. Once the actual launch is done, TS will obviously have it on the platform.

Sun Direct and Fastway had FYI TV18 HD for a long time (at the time it was only soft-launched). Much later, in October 2018, FYI TV18 was fully launched with a proper HD logo. So the actual launch was over in October. That doesn't have any connection with TS adding FYI HD.

Both SD & HD Gemini network channels have same content rest all network channels have separate feed.

But Maa Movies also shows same movie on SD and HD. However, SD has more ads and takes 3 hrs. HD finishes the movie in 2.5 hrs.

If ETV Cinema HD comes, I think it will show different content from its SD feed. Otherwise, it makes no sense to add ETV Cinema SD alacarte (Rs. 6) in addition to HD pack (Rs. 29)
