The 48 hour countdown for the launch of the fifth navigational satellite IRNSS-1E by ISRO’s workhorse launch vehicle PSLV-C31, on January 20 began at 0931 hrs at the spaceport of Sriharikota, today.
ISRO sources said ”the 48hr countdown activity of PSLV-C31/IRNSS-1E Mission
started at 0931 hrs today”.
The launch scheduled to take place from the Second Launch Pad at 0931 hrs on Wednesday.
During the countdown, propellant filling operations would be taken up in the four stage vehicle.

Update : Mixed Oxides of Nitrogen (MON-3) oxidiser filling operation of PS4 is completed by 18:15 hr IST.
