Can't you watch 4K videos from YouTube in 4K TVs?
Regarding the 4K STBs of Indian DTH, its truly useless. Even those DTHs stopped the 4K channels. And the broadcasters are not showing interest in starting 4K Channels atleast for the popular sports tournaments now.
Btw, I have a 4K FTA receiver with which I enjoy 4K channels in C band. Not many channels, only a very few available currently. But the international 4K channels are expected to increase very soon, heard that the Tokyo Olympics will broadcasted live in 8K. So the 4K era will also get kicked-off in our asian countries also
