It is not uncommon to see actors speaking up on social networking sites on political issues of significant bearing and public interest. Only that the trend has slowly caught up even in Tollywood.
It may be noted that it was limited to Bollywoodians earlier (Mahesh Bhatt and Anupam Kher being the most vociferous and prolific), but now we see Tamil and Telugu actors raising their voices on politically sensitive issues. Also, the participation of Mumbai dolls on such sites must be noted.
