But, sankara is a tamil + kannada channel.
Angel tv and shalom are also regional devotional channel, and placed under their respective genre....
so sankara can also be kept in tamil genre, that way it increases the channel count also for no. of channels in tamil genre. :lol

The problem is, since Sankara TV is a dual audio feed channel, it should be counted in two genre. In Airtel list, it is counted under Tamil, whereas in other DTH list, (eg; D2H) it is listed under Kannada. So it is leading to different counts.
My suggestion is to remove even Angel and Shalom from the language genre and move it to Devotional genre (may be we can create new genres like Tamil Devotional, Malayalam Devotional etc).
One more thing, DD Podhigai, which is under Active service is listed as Tamil channel in ADTV section but not in D2H. Because, ADTV allocated LCN for this but not D2H.
In DDF, we should maintain the list of channels across DTH providers with same categorization. As I already stated,
1) We should exclude devotional channels from Regional Language genre and move it to Regional Devotional genre.
2) Count Regional Language channels though they are under Active service and not listed in LCN.
3) Count Dual audio regional language channels in both language (only when it is not a devotional channel).
