Breaking Airtel Digital TV in talks with Dish TV for merger

If merger happens then many baba and teleshoping channels is going to add in airtel dth

So running in profit only makes sense for a company like Airtel.Dishtv had already burnt its hands by buying D2h.Don't Know what they will do as already they are selling 20% stake in ZEEL to overcome the debts.Here Airtel wants to sell but Dishtv wants to buy thats the million dollar question.If it is at a price point Dishtv will not bite the bait.

Exactly, ZEE Group is already in trouble and is selling a stake of their ZEE network to Sony. How will they find money to buy Airtel?

Instead, Airtel may want to buy Zee for the customer base.. DTH portability should kick in & all existing users of dish will be on airtel seamlessly

Mittal is trying to sell Airtel and never expect Essel group to sell dish tv to airtel.
It is not dish tv who needs merger, ADTV needs merger here and you are expecting ADTV to buy dish tv....
