Airtel Digital TV wifi Dongle free

Today I got a call from Airtel DTH CC team, Stating that they giving free dongle for Digitaltv customers.

Any idea want is the dongle used for? CC team don't have idea what is use, they are simply saying you will get discount in monthly rental..

This dongle will collect your viewing behaviour and help Airtel to make plans based on what customers are watching, I also got a call 2 months back, it is actually killing your privacy by gathering information of what you are watching and then uploading it to airtel servers.
