Sorry to say but only a dumb guy will drop this pack whereas in any of the long duration pack the refund is deducted from overall balance as per monthly recharge with same package.
I had confirmed this at the time of purchasing 12 M Basic HD pack.

So just to understand,
If you have 12M Basic HD Pack and you want to terminate after 4 months, then they will calculate 4x monthly cost, and refund the remaining?
Where is the refund issued, in Airtel DTH Main Balance, or source of payment like Card/Account?

Exactly!

All DTH service provider provide refund in main balance and only refund in case you choose to terminate the services or in case of active connection you performed big amount in one go by mistake.
