Mumbai, Jun 3 : Bollywood's favourite action hero Akshay Kumar, launched the television show ''Khatron Ke Khiladi (KKK)- The Torture Begins-season 4'' last evening.
The reality series, which will be aired on the general entertainment channel (GEC), Colors, will premiere today and telecast every Friday-Saturday at 2100 hrs.
Akshay is hosting the show for the third time, which is the Indian version of the international series 'Fear Factor'. Priyanka Chopra hosted the third season of the show last year.
Set in South Africa, season 4 will have 13 couples taking up a number of challenges, including encounters with Cheetahs, Lions and Crocodiles.
Contestants include lesser known celebrities, actors and models like Sambhavna Seth, Kashmera Shah, Diandra Soares, VJ Mia Uyeda, Poonam Pandey and Aarti Chhabria among others.
An added feature of KKK- Season 4 is that the winner will get an opportunity to act with Kumar in a new soft drink advertisement.
Akshay, famous for performing all stunts himself, showed his mettle by jumping off a ramp in a black Khatron Ke Khiladi car, to launch the series last evening.
''Doing stunts is my life. I would have taken up a career as a stuntman if I had not been an action hero,'' he said.
