Thaicom 5 has two c band beams : Global beam (that needs 210 cm dish in South India) and Regional beam (that needs 170 cm dish in South India).

I am catching up the regional beam with my 180 cm C band dish

plz tell about to get fta channel on 60cm dish

In India, you can get FTA on 60 cm dish on AsiaSat 3S at 105.5 deg E. You can receive about 24 IRIB Iran tv channels and 19 IRIB satellite radio stations. All tv channels are mpeg 2, while some mpeg 4 channels are on test without Audio.

Apart from that Insat 4CR at 74 east too has educational channels FTA.

We have got a news that Govt of India is also planning a satellite at 55 deg east for running 50 FTA educational channels soon. That can be easily receivable by a 60 cm dish.

Please refer to ku band update section in our satellite section in ddf for more details about getting FTA channels on 60 cm dish.
