Starting July 6, the celebrity chat show will
air every Sunday at 8 pm.
Taking its "entertainment" element a notch
higher, Viacom18's flagship Hindi general
entertainment channel, Colors, is about to
launch a celebrity chat show, hosted by
Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher.
Produced by Kher's Actor Prepares Production,
'The Anupam Kher Show - Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta
Hai' will launch on July 6 and air every Sunday
at 8 pm, replacing 'Mission Sapne'.
This is Kher's second show with Colors, first
being Anil Kapoor's '24' in which he played
Wasim Khan. In the past, Kher has also hosted
a very popular kids' show for SAB TV called
'Say Na Something To Anupam Uncle'.
The show aims not just to provide a peek into
the lives of celebrities, but give the viewers'
inspiration to learn from those they idolise.
These are stories of love, passion,
perseverance and kindness. The show will
provides viewers an unprecedented glimpse
into the lives of their favourite celebrities, as
they reveal stories of faith, hope, struggle,
victory and success.
'The Anupam Kher Show' will witness celebrities
from different walks of life sharing their
experiences. The series will kick off with Shah
Rukh Khan. The subsequent episodes will
feature artistes and prominent personalities
like Mahesh Bhatt and Alia Bhatt, David
Dhawan and Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar,
Vidya Balan, Kangana Ranaut, Kapil Sharma,
Naseeruddin Shah and Om Puri, Parineeti
Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonam Kapoor
and Arjun Kapoor, and cricketer Yuvraj Singh.
Raj Nayak, CEO, Colors, says, "The Anupam
Kher Show - Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai will bring
to light the extraordinary experiences which
have shaped some of India's most revered
personalities. While Mission Sapne had
celebrities living the life of a common man,
with Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai, we will see a new
set of celebrities talking about their journey
from 'aam' to 'khaas'. Their battles will inspire
many and make viewers look at them in a
different light."
Kher adds, "Having experienced the bitter and
sweet sides of life first-hand, I was looking for
an outlet to share stories of self-motivation
with audiences to tell them that they are not
alone. During the course of the series, viewers
will get an insight into life with the ultimate
learning that nothing is impossible if you just
believe."
The channel has planned a robust digital
campaign. The channel has launched a twitter
hash tag for the show (#TheAnupamKherShow)
as it promises to give latest updates on the
show through its own handle (@ColorsTV) and
Kher's (@AnupamPKher) on Twitter. The fans
will also get access to exclusive behind-the-
scenes content. Colors has got Jyothi
Laboratories' Henko on board as the 'powered
by' sponsor for the show.
