Arasu cable extends last date

The government-run cable TV multi-system operator (MSO) Arasu Cable TV Corporation, which recently announced the rollout of its services in Chennai city, has extended the date for local cable TV operators to sign up with its service to October 31.
A press release issued by the government on Thursday said the Arasu Cable was currently finalising tender for procuring digital set top boxes and had also started collecting an advance fee of Rs. 500 per box from local cable operators.
Chennai will be one of four metros in the country to enter an era of completely digital cable TV transmission from November 1

SO it is clear that no confirmation of STB procuring, STB supply date, STB price, but just asking advance payment for STB with no info on when the STB and the service be available.
