Seeking Help Audio not coming in Hathway HD STB from HDMI port

Hey,
hi recently my HD box stopped providing audio from HDMI port. It's working fine from AV jack.

When I contact Cable Operator he took up the STB and check it his own way but unfortunately he can't. He's now asking to replace it with new one. But, I wanna ask that

What could be the exactly issue with it??
Is local electronic repairer can repair it?
How much WARRANTY does it come with?
HELP!

Btw my stb was not powering on last year.My LCO fixed it with 4 hours.

He took up ur STB or he resolved his directly by office.

He took up ur STB or he resolved his directly by office.

He took it around 3 pm returned around 7.There was a power equipment failure and replaced it for 60-80 bucks
