TV show Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya, featuring Mishkat
Verma and Kanchi Singh as the lead couple, will
wrap up in the first week of December.

We hear, the channel has decided to pull the
plug on it because of its poor run. The show,
which was launched in January, will complete
11 months before it ends. Says a source, "The
channel had a lot of expectations from the
show, but it failed to generate sustainable
ratings." Producer Rajan Shahi didn't revert to
our text message.

RE: Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya to end next month

In order to dramatise different
relationships through different shows, Hindi
general entertainment channel Zee TV is set to
launch another relationship-based show ‘Satrangi
Sasural’.

Adding variety to its programming, the show will
focus on hope and family values, and also
encompass a love story with a tinge of humour.
Launching on 3 December, ‘Satrangi Sasural’ will
replace Rajan Shahi’s ‘Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya’ to
occupy the 10 pm slot from Monday to Friday.

“On one hand, we have a male-focused show
‘Jamai Raja’, and then we have ‘Satrangi
Sasural’. Variety is the spice of life for us. The
show comes from a successful idea and is based
on a unique concept. As a network strategy, we
are happy to celebrate each other’s unique
concepts. So some of our Zee TV shows are
being produced and adapted for our Southern
channels, and we are happy to adapt a Marathi
show. There are very few networks that can do
what we are doing,” stated Sharma.

So ‘Satrangi Sasural’ will replace this show on Zee Tv.
