The reason is 2nd Output deal with Times Network for its films. After premiere on Pix these films shift to MN just as Disney shift. Plus Universal Selected Movies with Polygram Entertainment under Star India (it's old partner BTW)
How the output deals works actually?please explain?i am really confused about this output deals.

There are various output deals for multiple broadcasters in English Movies Space.
First there is exclusive output deal and then there is secondary output deal
Now this is the comparison of output deals with channels with exclusive ones highlighted in bold

STAR Movies - Walt Disney, 20th Century Fox, Lionsgate (2019 - present) , Sony Pictures

In the case of Star Movies Disney films have output deals with various broadcasters while 20th Century Fox has a solitary output deal for selected films to Times Network.

Sony PIX - Universal Pictures, Warner Bros , Selected Disney Films and some of their own films (Sony Pictures)

In the case of Sony Pix it has an exclusive deal with Universal Pictures while the second output deal is with Warner Bros.

HBO - Warner Bros, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures

For HBO it's been Warner Bros and Paramount pictures from the start itself for its exclusive deal. Afterwards there is a third output deal with Sony Pictures and Other small studios independent stuff.

&Flix - Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures and Walt Disney Entertainment

Before &flix when it was Zee Studio. They had an exclusive deal with Lionsgate India, which has moved to Star India now. They currently have exclusive deal with Sony Pictures while having a second output deal with Paramount pictures and a third output deal with Walt Disney.

Movies Now - MGM, Walt Disney, Universal Pictures, Warner Bros, 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures,

They only have an exclusive deal with a Single production house which has a low frequency of producing films but they are literally the king of Output Deals. Most studios second output deal preference is always Times Network. Whether it's Disney, Sony, Warner Bros, Universal or Fox. Every Studio has their second output deal to Times which also helps them to not have a third output deal with studios.

Thanks for the information

Why isn't everyone talking about elephant in the room here? Who gets all that huge CBS library? If Viacom is getting it. Since they already got the sitcoms their channels will get a huge boost in content. I wouldn't mind watching The Amazing Race on Vh1. And Survivor, The Bachelor and Dexter on Colors Infinity. Even Sony content like Breaking Bad can give Viacom a great boost. And the reality shows always works on Colors Infinity. So Genius Junior will find a new home.

CBS shows are distributed by WB.
Probably there will be an enter of new player either from Viacom or other network

How about Times finally entering the GEC space? They have good experience from Romedy Now.

If a company goes out because of competition in market, many will be there to enter the market and compete.
If a company goes out because of lack of market, rarely there will be new entrants to that diminishing market.

Not when companies are keen on destroying the GEC space by airing movies. AXN and Zee self destroyed themselves. Star is next. Why Colors Infinity and Comedy Central are successful? No movies in between shows. It's frustrating to miss episodes as movies take up repeat time slots.

Not very sure if these channels are successful and safe, as AXN shutdown came as a surprise. AXN was only below Comedy Central in TRP.
