I think by doing this they will able to save 300 or 400 kbit bandwidth in tp i think :shy:huh

Most Likely to save bandwidth on TP to create more space in that Tp to add more channels in that Tp :huh

Thanks for posting about it. It was approx. 2 days ago. I noticed it but forgot to post about it. :)

Regarding changing the aspect ratio, its done to broadcast the channel properly on old CRT TVs. But IMO all DTH companies should broadcast these kind of downscaled HD channels in 16:9 aspect ratio so that they look proper in LCD/LED TVs. At least Tata Sky should do this as they claim themselves to be a premium DTH company.
