I hope it happens then star will have rights in 4 languages equal with V18

They are already equal v18 have rights of 3 languages (kannada, marathi nd hindi)
Star have 3 language rights (tamil,telugu nd malayalam)

Very true! Star Maa became a dominant player from Bigg Boss 1 Telugu! Bigg Boss 1 Tamil became the game changer for Star Vijay! And Star Vijay used to launch few fictions during every Bigg Boss to boost their fiction lineup !

Currently Star Vijay is set to launch Diya Aur Baati Hum remake very soon,they have launched the promo of the show few days back! Expecting that it would boost Star Vijay primetime lineup!

This is reason last week I commented . In front of Biggboss show KBK nothing (channel boasting spacially regional language ).

As you said Tamil BB 5th season after that Biggboss rights colors will also try because its needed to them to hold good position Tamil market .

Star is not fool. If a property which is working for them why the hell they will give any network a chance to snatch it. Star South Channels like StarVijay,StarMaa or Asianet is known for their reality programming unlike north where Star Serials are more popular. What i see is star will retain bigg boss in tamil,telugu & malayalam.

And now K Madhavan is heading Star, who had been the MD of Asianet keeping the channel market leader all time. I likes to believe he is a lucky person(keeping aside his capabilities). Because even Asianet contents go worser it never affected it's viewership. As a co incidence, After he became the head of Star, the network is delivering the best results of all-time in this pandemic situation.

But at that time there was less competition on tamil market except sun tv all other big networks gec were doing same on charts nd bigg boss worked for them but now in tamil market even without bb vijay tv nd also zee tamil are doing so well so now there is no chance in that overcrowded market for any other gec
But again i dont think star will also let go bb tamil rights even after 5 seasons

BB kannada first season telecasted in Etv kannada (Colorskannada ) but second season telecasted in StarSuvarna . With last season BBK7 kannada rights over with Colors kannada even StarSuvarna tried BBK rights finally comes to colors. So In Tamil also try both star and Colors finally one channel get rights.

BB show is trp boaster everyone wants rights of show(colors or Star).

When suvarna got the right of bigg boss that time star didn't owned the company. Also notice one more thing Bigg Boss has been started with Season 1 on all Star Channels they will not give any chance to other network to snatch in these 3 languages.

Star maa , vijay tv ,colors kannada were already in market for very long time (nd except vijay both star maa &CK were already doing gr8 in those markets) when bb launched on these channels
