BARC Ratings Week 46 (2020)

Zee TV has taken up a good share this week, that's why it has pulled down the GRP of STAR Plus. Good to see that it has overtaken Colors and SAB TV. Also, Zee Kannada crossed 400000th mark again. Zee Tamil, Zee Bangla and Zee Telugu are stable in 3rd, 2nd and 2nd position respectively. Zee Keralam is doing well, at 4th placed in the highly consolidated Malayalam Market. Zee Punjabi is also ok as FTA channel. Zee Marathi is losing more, it has to work hard for regaining the lead position.

Colors TV has slipped down this week to 4th position. Colors Marathi is still doing well at 3rd position. Colors Tamil is having a struggling phase, as they couldn't enter Top 5 even this week. Colors Bangla and Colors Odia are pushed to 5th position since many weeks, owing to dependence on only dubbed content. Colors Kannada has come up well, and consolidated it's position at 2nd place, beating STAR Suvarna.

Sony has it's places unchanged, same for Sony Aath and Sony Marathi, whereas SAB TV has slipped down by 1 position due to Zee TV. Sports segment wise, this week Sony Ten 3 and Sony Ten 1 have re-entered the charts.

SUN TV is back at their winning streak again. Whereas, Gemini TV, Udaya TV and Surya TV are stable in their 4th, 4th and 5th position respectively. Sun is investing in Bangla Market, as 3 new fiction shows are arriving next month. Sun Bangla is stable at 4th position, waiting for it's HD version to aid the game.

This week all channels urban grps decreased mostly because of diwali....so lets see what happen next
Good thing is star plus orimetime shows are working whereas rpt of sathiya nd yrkkh maybe got low ratings thats why their grp falls
