Highlights of Hindi Television TRP report this week
#Star plus show Anupamaa got its highest ever rating of 3.8 (note that there is not any daily fiction show since 2018 got trps of 3.8!! In 2018 YRKKH hold records of highest daily fiction show trp of 3.8)

#Sony tv india best dancer saw sudden spike in ratings from 1.9 to 2.8

#zee tv new launch Brahmarakshas2 got very low ratings in debut week 1.2 trps only
(Seems like supernatural shows era finally gone as naagin5 highest rated supernatural show continues to get 1.4 tvr only)

#Bigg Boss disappointing run continues as on weekdays it gets 1.1 and on weekend despite salman khan presence its getting only 1.4 lowest ratings till date for any bb season on weekends

#same with sony tv Kapil Sharma Show and KBC also as both got 1.5 & 1.4 respectively

#Sony tv new launch Story Nine Months ki gets very poor ratings of 0.4

#Sab tv new launch Katelal and Sons got decent 1.0 trps in debut week

Across All Genres 5 Out of 3 STAR India channels are In TOP 5 & STAR Ustav Has Regain it's #1 Title From SUN TV Across All Platforms. STAR Ustav Continues To Rule Free Platform. In Hindi GEC (All Platforms) STAR Ustav & StarPlus Continues To Rule in #1 & #2 Position Respectively. In Pay Platform StarPlus Continues To Be India's Number #1 Hindi Language Entertainment Channel. Shows Like Anupamaa,Ghum Hain Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein,Imlie are no dought has become Major Hits.
In Hindi Movies Star need to Concentrate At Both The Flagship Channels which are getting lower in terms of ratings.
Coming To Regional Entertainment
Star Maa Continues To Rule Telugu Market with Star Maa Movies Continues to Be at #5 Position.
StarJalsha Continues To Rule Bengali Market with Jalsha Movies continues to Be at #3 Position.
Asianet is Ruling Malayalam Market as usual.
StarPravah has Conquered Whole Maharashtra where it's Ruling Across All Platforms including PAY.
Star Suvarna like Always sitting In #3 Position In Kannada Market.
StarVijay Continues to Be at #2 & Sister Channel StarVijaySuper at #5 Position.
In English Entertainment Disney International HD has re-entered TOP 5 but For Star World it's a bad Weak as it has shrink to #4 Which was at #2 Last Weak.
Sadly, StarMovies Needs a Lot to do at it's really shrinked to #4th Position where it never went.
It's needs to just give a break to Disney,Marvel,Pixar Movies.
In Infotainment National Geographic Continues To Be at #2 & Again NatGeo Wild is at #4 position Beating HistoryTV18 which is kinda sad For TV18 Team as the channel always used to be at TOP 3.
In Lifestyle FOX Life is at #4 Position.
Disney Channels Needs a Major Makeover Interms of Programming because Disney Channel is not even in Top 5 Although Hungama is at #2.

For all the recent success of the Star network, and particularly Star Pravah, one big genre was left out in @KAR bro’s post above. After the IPL got over, Star Sports is hardly talked about as all the attention has shifted to Sony Six and Sony Ten 1/3 because of the IND v AUS series.

But all the Disney movies which are targeted towards kids and families are getting pretty good ratings on Star Movies from the past few months. This week also an animated movie Rio has came on top of the charts.

The thing is regional channels don't have separate section for GEC and movies, so most GECs show up. Also, Tamil channels have high competition.
