Zee Sarthak was launched only in 2010. So it can't be 10 years. But it has been No. 1 for quite a long time and it's good to see the local player Tarang standing its ground (like ETV in Telugu).
Similarly it took Zee Bangla 9 years to overtake Star Jalsha.

This is quite unexpected. It seems the two Aaths have a significant viewership and neither JM nor ZBC is that popular. Colors Bangla Cinema will have to do a lot of homework before trying to break into the top 5.

It also highlights the failure of Colors Odia, and the success of small networks confined to one state like ETV, Manorama, Ortel and Pride East. When ETV can have 5 HD channels, and Mazhavil Manorama can be in HD, Ortel and Pride East should launch Tarang HD and Rang HD, respectively.
