BBC Earth to launch in Asia in October

In Asia, BBC Earth will be available in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

In India, BBC Earth will be distributed by Sony Multi Screen Media.

contradicting statements from 2 different pages

It was announced sometime back about partnership of MSM with BBC.

it only says about intention to form partnership...
it will be good if it goes forward...
also we have to remember that partnership between powerfull media houses is not allowed these days after competion monitoring authority orders..

I am sure it will happen as I know there was a lot of excitement at Sony because of this.

In any case I don't think BBC can be classified as exactly a powerful media house in India, having only one running channel.
