Newspapers like Hindustan Times and Indian Express will likely never venture into TV broadcasting. Only TOI and India Today have entered broadcast journalism. Previously The Hindu had a joint venture with NDTV but it didn’t last.

Of course, many regional newspapers have TV channels, like ABP, Sakal, Gujarat Samachar, Eenadu, Manorama, Mathrubhumi and Dina Thanthi.
