Don't forget they need to run around 35 channels,
Content cost is too much for a single show.

Their whole HINDI GEC portfolio is not working well (zee tv, &TV, zindagi & now zee anmol is also not working)

They will not take risk of new produced content for FTA channel.

Instead of running old Zee Tv drama serials on BiG Magic they should produce more and more comedy shows.....
There is no much fun in reruning old drama series...

I would suggest they should run "Hum Paanch" and many other comedy shows which they shown in 90's like ghar jamaai, professor pyarelal, Chutki bajake, Gopaljee, Hadd kar di..etc

They have a few decent comedy shows in &tv and zindagi. But apart from bhabhi ji no one is doing that well. This is because they are aired in channels(esp. zindagi) where people don't tune to watch comedy, and people who watch comedy don't tune into. Most people think these two channels saas bahu drama channels, thus good comedy serials go unnoticed. But if these are shifted to a dedicated comedy channel, those will give a tough competion to sony sab instead of competing among themselves. Where zee is messing it up is that their own shows from same genre are ending up clashing with wach other. Look at sony, they are managing it very well. The only hardcore comedy show they're airing on sony ent tv (kapil show), they are making sure it doesn't clash with sony sab shows...
If they had to run re run shows only, why did they waste money by buying big magic?
Was expecting to see big competition between sony sab, big magic and sab hapii in 2017, but big magic already out of race it seems....
